Step-by-Step: How To Clean Your Pram
1. Remove all fabrics from the pram frame and shake them well. Use a vacuum to get in the corners. If there is a board in the back seat, remove and pop aside. Remove the wheels from the frame and pop aside.
2. Place all fabrics in the bath with warm soapy water to soak for 1-2 hours. If the water is really dirty, you may need to drain the bath and repeat.
Tip - I use dishwashing liquid to help remove the grim
3. After soaking, if there are still dirt spots, use a scrubbing brush and gently clean the area in circular motions to help lift the remaining dirt. You can use Sard on the tough stains before putting them in the washing machine.
4. While fabrics are soaking, use a spray cleaner of your choice and a cloth to wipe down the pram frame. For those stubborn marks, using a magic eraser works wonders on the frame.
5. After soaking, put all the pram fabrics into the washing machine on a gentle cycle with cold water and your washing liquid of choice.
6. While the fabrics are washing, it's time to scrub those wheels. Place the wheels in the bath with warm water and dishwashing liquid. Using a scrubbing brush, scrub your little heart out until clean. Pop aside on a towel to dry.
7. Now the washing machine is done, it is time to put the fabrics back on the pram frame. Yes, we are putting them back on wet to avoid them shrinking while they are drying.
Put the wheels back on!
8. You should now have the pram put back together and stil wet.
Place under a fan to dry!
Congratulations
Your pram is now clean
